Make Images Responsive in Coupon Widget

I placed an image in a widget area using the coupon widget. However, it is not scaling when I view on tablet/phone.
How do we fix that?
I’m in the process of putting up the site now…

It’s also just an overall question. I have another image in a text widget and it’s not scaling.
Hoping to have the site up in the next 30 minutes…
