thank you message appears twice

The “thank you for leaving a message” quote already appears with opening the contact page. If you submit a message, it appears twice. How do I hide the first one?

Hello Sandra,
That’s strange, it should be hidden through css and shown when success.
You can hide that item by adding the following custom CSS:
```
.nice-contact-form #success { display: none; }
```
