The text will not update while everything else updates immediately. There is no site caching used.

The change is subtle, the front page reads (incorrectly):
Dedicated to ensuring you get the most out of Korbyt™, we make it simple for you to get the help you need. Tutorials are available within the platform or contact us for additional assistance.

While the welcome message entry in the text box is:
Dedicated to ensuring you get the most out of Korbyt™, we make it simple for you to get the help you need. Search the knowledge base for information, watch video tutorials within the platform or contact us for additional assistance.

I see, and this doesn’t happen with any other option? Nor pages? if you for example update a page content or something like that it is updating straight away?

It seems that you have SSL conflicts in your backend with the favicon.

All other content and options update immediately, this is the only item that does not.

Also I’m aware of the SSL conflict on the favicon, but it hasn’t been a priority to fix as it only happens on the dashboard pages and not on the site pages.

If you go directly to the database and search for the option nice_welcome_message on the table wp_options what value do you see? Is the one updated?

It is quite strange that the function to retrieve that information from the theme is a native WordPress function named get_option, and it shouldn’t be causing any trouble.
