Request ID #1325 Resolved
  • HI there,

I tried changing the settings (font weight and color) for the footer widget content and my saved changes are not reflected on the site.

    Am I doing something wrong?

    Hi there,

I’ve seen you added some custom css for that. Sometimes (when you’re not directly overriding a class, because not using the proper hierarchy) you need to add the !important CSS declaration.

You can read more about it here: http://coding.smashingmagazine.com/2010/11/02/the-important-css-declaration-how-and-when-to-use-it/

    Best,
    Juan.

With regards to the typography options, you need to enable the usage of custom fonts.

If you see the form, you’ll see at the top that there’s an option named “Enable Custom Typography”. You must tick that, and later save changes.

    Best,
    Juan.

Hey! I did that after I posted. So the problem existed before. Can you check again now that I’ve removed it?

Wait to I have to have the checkbox at the top enabled?

    Hi there,

I’ve just tested the footer typography. It’s now looking Arial 16px #fff and it look like it should.

    Best,
    Juan.

That’s right, you have to enable the custom typography option in order to use the custom typography.

    Best,
    Juan.
