Is it possible to have the slider appear on the Internal pages of a website (on different templates)? A client has asked if this is possible.
In an ideal world, it would have different sliders on different pages (so they could have slider info for different areas of their business).Juanfra Aldasoro September 28, 2013 at 9:48 amHello there,
Thanks for writing.
Unfortunately, at this moment, there’s no shortcode or functionality which make this possible. The only way to do that would be coding the slides queries on the template. I’m sure we’ll be including something easier on this regard in the near future.

Thanks for replying! How would i go about coding the slide queries onto the other templates? I’m a bit inexperienced with editing templates at source :/
Juanfra Aldasoro October 7, 2013 at 11:02 amHi there,
No worries, I’m happy to help 🙂
Actually if you go and check the file header.php, the code is there. The only problem with taking it from there is that you need to be a bit proficient in php in order to know which block you need to copy. And also, probably there are some styles for the slider that are only applied when the home page is viewed (for example, the space between the navigation menu and the slider). That’s why I mentioned that it’s not that easy to do that from the template.
Best,
Juan.
