Seeing Google Analytics for articles (not posts)

I recently set up the Google Analytics plugin with my site, and I’m loving the detailed metrics it provides. However, one critical issue (when using the Flatbase theme) is that the analytics tool does not appear to provide metrics for specific articles, only pages and posts. The only engagement with articles I can track is when users go to the ‘Help’ page, then go from there.
Is there a plugin that tracks analytics for articles, or is there a way to update Google Analytics to do so?
Sorry for the multiple forum posts today – I am trying to finish our site before our launch date, and thought it would be best to assign each of these issues to it’s own post, for ease of search visibility for future forum readers.
Juanfra Aldasoro January 12, 2017 at 7:26 pmHi,
Thank you for writing. No problem at all.
Honestly, we’ve not tested compatibility with that plugin. I guess the best way to make the articles compatible will be asking the plugin developers if you can add tracking for custom post types. If the answer is yes, then all you need to do is setup the tracking for articles.
Best,
