Juanfra Aldasoro January 5, 2018 at 8:19 pmHi,
Thank you for writing. I hope you are doing well.
Do you mean the HTML site title?

Juan.Juanfra Aldasoro January 9, 2018 at 9:57 pmThanks for the follow-up.
I have tried to log in with the details you shared when creating the ticket and it says that the login/password combination doesn’t work.
Have you installed any SEO plugin?
Best,
Juan.Juanfra Aldasoro January 10, 2018 at 2:18 pmThank you.
Please, would you give that user admin privileges so I can check your admin section?
I can see through the site HTML that you are using YOAST SEO. Have you checked the “Title” configuration over there to see if the title is not repeating?
Best,
Juan.lajpat January 10, 2018 at 2:25 pmI had done no changes to Yoast plugin even for my other site.
I have changed your role to Admin. Please check & let me know what changes I have to make.
Sincere thanks
Juanfra Aldasoro January 10, 2018 at 3:53 pmHi,
Thank you for the follow-up.
I see. The problem is that the theme, by default, doesn’t display the title two times. So I’m trying to see what other plugin or modification may have caused that. For example, have you tried deactivating YOAST SEO?
Have you done any modification to the theme files?

Juan.lajpat January 11, 2018 at 6:38 amEarlier before installing any plugins it was showing properly…it seems I will have to some plugins completely to recheck who is causing problem….
thanks for your help
lajpat January 11, 2018 at 7:38 amit seems this issue is prevalent due to yoast plugin & your site theme does not support <title-tag> which it need to rewrite the title dynamically.
have to now stick with this for a while. will see what to do later
Juanfra Aldasoro January 11, 2018 at 2:10 pmHi,
Thanks for the follow-up.
Yes, the theme is using the function wp_title so any plugin can modify the HTML title tag if they need so. Plus it is concatenating the site title after that. Perhaps you can use a child theme and modify the header.php file in order to have it with just the wp_title function and see how it works with Yoast plugin?

Juan.lajpat January 11, 2018 at 5:15 pmCan you ask your developers to update theme with title-tag???
The SEO title output for the plugin doesn’t work as expected
Theme I am using for blog has included this changes & I faced no issues in that.
Juanfra Aldasoro January 11, 2018 at 6:45 pmThanks for the follow-up and the link.
We’ll be taking a look at it and quite likely will be including this in future releases.
Best,
Juan.
