Hi there,
I am using the Paeon theme and I’m really happy with it, however, I need to turn the commenting on my pages off. We are not using this as a blog. Where do I go to do that? I have looked everywhere. I haven’t enabled a bunch of plugins. Thanks ElizabethJuanfra Aldasoro September 11, 2014 at 7:12 pmHi Elizabeth,
Thanks for writing. We’re more than glad to hear youยดre happy with the theme ๐
With regards to turning off the comments, that’s a WordPress feature. When creating/editing a page, check that the comments are turned off on the “Discussion” box.
If you can’t see the “Discussion” box, check that it is checked when you open the “Screen Options” on the top right side of that screen.
Best,

Thanks for responding so quickly. I did all that and they are still showing up. Very strange. On the pages that you’ve created – Home, Contact and Staff that I applied using the Page Attributes area, there is no Comment space, just on the pages I created myself.
What do you think the problem is?
Elizabeth

Juanfra Aldasoro September 12, 2014 at 3:06 pmHi Elizabeth,
I’m really happy for your kind words ๐
Yes, it’s a WordPress thing. I am not sure why is that sometimes the comments come disabled by default and in other occasions enabled. It’s a bit of a mystery, but fortunately it is something easy to fix.
I hope you have a great day. Please let us know if you need further assistance.
Best,
Juan.
