I uploaded the them but I am unable to get the middle menu working. Like the knowledge base button and faq. How do I get this theme to look like the demo? I saw others uploading a .xml but I do not see that in the .zip folder.
Juanfra Aldasoro January 21, 2015 at 12:34 pmHello there,
Thanks for writing. Yes, if the site doesn’t have contents, then you won’t see things in it.
If you look at the right sidebar of this exact same page you’ll find a link to get the XML demo content for any of the themes: http://nicethemes.com/theme-xml-demo-content/
Right over that page, when logged in, you have access to the file and you also have a small explanation on how to import the file.
Finally, please check http://nicethemes.com/support/ to see the articles we have regarding setting up the home page template, using widgets and navigation menus.
Best,
Juan.bbonner January 21, 2015 at 4:18 pmI have followed the guide and I still do not see the right home page.
My site looks like http://i.imgur.com/UdlAKIM.png
Even when I upload the .xml I still do not see the right homepage.
Juanfra Aldasoro January 21, 2015 at 4:31 pmHello,
Please if you take a closer look to my message you’ll find that in the last paragraph I mention that you also need to take a look at the article on how to set the home page: http://nicethemes.com/article/setting-home-page/
Best,
Juan.bbonner January 21, 2015 at 5:02 pmI feel like I have done this unless I am missing somehting.
Title the first page “Home” (or another name) as your “static” front page.
Set the “Home” template to the default template or any custom template. Do not title your template home.php as this could cause a conflict.
Add content you would like to see within the content area of the “Home” page.
Publish the Page.Title the second page “Blog” (or you could call it “News”, “Articles”, etc.). This page will be a place-holder for showing the Posts on your site.
Do not use a custom Page template for this page! home.php or index.php will be used to generate this page.
DO NOT add content to the Blog Page. Leave it blank. Any content here will be ignored — only the Title is used.
Publish the Page. The only issue I have is the page attributes is defaulted to default template.
Go to Administration → Settings → Reading panel.
Set ‘Front page displays:’ to ‘a static page’ and choose the first page you created above for ‘Front page.’ If your WordPress site will contain a blog section, set ‘Posts page’ to the page you created for this above. Otherwise, leave this blank.Enable ”Permalinks” to show the “page title” in the address, since /index.php?p=423 defeats the purpose of making a static front page.
What am I missing here?
Juanfra Aldasoro January 21, 2015 at 6:18 pmHi,
Thanks for the follow up.
If you follow the guide I’ve linked you’ll see that it links an article explaining how to assign a template: http://nicethemes.com/article/setting-home-page/
What you’re missing is that you haven’t assigned the Home Page template for the “Home” page that you are creating. http://nicethemes.com/article/using-page-templates/
Please, when editing the page that you want to use as the home page, check over the “Attributes” box, to select the template for the home page.

Juan.bbonner January 21, 2015 at 9:16 pmI changed the home page to the home atributes and it makes the site look like http://i.imgur.com/3VZbxbv.png
I am still not seeing the menus like the demo.
Juanfra Aldasoro January 21, 2015 at 9:49 pmThanks for your prompt response.
Well, after you import the data, and select the front page you need to set up which things you would like to display on the home page by going to the theme options panel.
Theme options > Home Options.
Best,
Juan.
