BBQ Demo setup… Fancybox Gallery setup.

I hate to bother you, but I am hitting a wall when it comes to the Gallery page.
I have created an instance of the BBQ Demo theme using your Demo xml file. So I now have a working gallery page that displays your BBQ demo thumbnails and loads the larger demo images (consisting of the various items you’ve placed in the Media Library).
I have read that all I need to do is add media while editing the Gallery page, or create a new page using the gallery template and the theme handles this upon adding media.
I’ve done both and do not get any thumbnails. I’ve looked to see if there was anything within the Images stored in the Media folder by hitting “edit” to see if there was some setting I needed to trigger.
I’ve renamed my page to “Images”. Again, it is fully functional, displaying your demo files. I want to replace this with my images but they do not seem to load properly at all. They don’t appear as formatted thumbs, with links to a modal window for the larger view.
The key thing that MIGHT be missing is the Fancybox2 plugin—not sure if I need to install that myself and activate that within my domain, but if that were the case, how are your demo images working? URL is listed below.
I’ve also looked at this: http://codex.wordpress.org/The_WordPress_Gallery
Again, any help would be appreciated. I’ve scoured the forum, and just don’t see what is missing here, any help for this newbie would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Juanfra Aldasoro March 1, 2015 at 3:53 pmHello Jeff,
Thanks for writing. You are not bothering 🙂
With regards to the gallery page, all you need to do is create a page, assign the “Gallery” Template and then you can use the WordPress gallery shortcode in order to have it working: http://codex.wordpress.org/The_WordPress_Gallery
Please, do not install any other plugin with fancybox because the script is already in the theme, and it is quite likely that if you duplicate it (through a plugin) it will end up causing some kind of conflict.
Best,
Juan.jpazen March 2, 2015 at 10:02 pmThanks, I had read that but clearly, I missed the “select the ‘Create a Gallery’ option from the list of actions on the left”. I’m posting this in the hopes of helping someone else who might miss the obvious. =D
It works, my attempts without creating a gallery were futile.
This is resolved, please close this post out, and thanks again!
