Hi,
1) i made a page using the gallery template and i added a wp gallery to it.
I uploaded 7 images and i checked it.So far so good.
Then i tried to edit the gallery by adding extra images (who were already uploaded before). on the backend you can see al images on the page but on the front only the initial seven are shown. So i tried to delete the initial seven and again on the backend it looks fine.
But still the same result on the front. Then i removed the gallery from the page.
Same result. The 7 initial images remain…
(no cache problem, i tried other browsers)The only way to remove the images is to completely remove them from WP.
We should be able to change the gallery very often.2) I even tried to make a new page with a gallery theme and added 14 images.
He shows only 12 photo’s! Is there a 12 image limit in the gallery? Is this a bug? I’m i doing something wrong?
Please help.
CJuanfra Aldasoro April 16, 2015 at 3:55 pmHi Cedric,
Thanks for writing.
In order to use the gallery page, all you need to do is create a page, assign the “Gallery” Template and then you can use the WordPress gallery shortcode in order to have it working: http://codex.wordpress.org/The_WordPress_Gallery
The template is also prepared to work with the images which have been attached to that page. So, on that page, if you go to “Add Media”, you can see what media have been uploaded to that file in order to remove it: https://cloudup.com/cyUmwsVm8rf

Juan.c3creaties April 16, 2015 at 6:56 pmhi Juan,
i do know how to work with the wordpress gallery. I made already several WP site.
But with the BBQ theme something seems to be off.
I made a page with “gallery” template an i used add media to add the gallery, like you suggest .
It is not normal that only the first selection of images is shown, even if they were removed from the gallery and replaced by others.
The WP gallery shows up perfectly on the page in edit mode. But shows something different in view mode.I get the feeling that we don’t understand each other.
Is there a way that i can show you this live with screensharing or something?
thanks in advance!
CJuanfra Aldasoro April 16, 2015 at 7:34 pmHi Cedric,
Thanks for your prompt response. There’s a complete document about the WordPress gallery that can be found here: http://codex.wordpress.org/The_WordPress_Gallery
Secondly, I state that the template, at the same time, works with the images that are uploaded to that page. They can be found where I explained above: https://cloudup.com/cyUmwsVm8rf You can erase them if you don´t want them to be displayed on that page.
Best,
Juan.c3creaties April 16, 2015 at 7:56 pmok, sorry for the inconvenience.
I didn’t understand the part off the images uploaded to the page.
Works fine now!
Thanks
