Hello.
First of all, congratulations for the wonderful theme. It’s very nice.
I’ve been trying, based on other topics of this forum, to put in every page different categories of knowledge base. I`m using the shortcode
[nicethemes_knowledgebase category=32] or [nicethemes_knowledgebase category=autor]
I`ve tried every kind of variation (with “id” ou just id, the number and the name of the id).
I hope you can help me.
Thank you.
Juanfra Aldasoro May 31, 2015 at 8:40 pmHey,
Thanks for your kind words. I hope you are having a good day.
Yes, the shortcode works with the “category” parameter, and the ID should be the ID of the “Article Category”. Do you know how to get that?
What version of the theme are you running?
Best,
Juan.zerwes June 1, 2015 at 12:53 pmThe version is the 1.0.2.
I think I know how to get the ID. Is that number that appears at the address when you click on the category, right?
Thank you so much.
Juanfra Aldasoro June 2, 2015 at 1:02 amAwesome, you are using the latest version at the moment.
Yes, you are right about how to get the latest version.
Please let us know if you need any further assistance.
Best,
Juan.zerwes June 4, 2015 at 4:05 pmJuan, I still don’t get to put the categories into the page. Could you, please, share exactly the shortcode?
The name of the category, is “account-settings”, and the id is 32. Sorry, but I can’t make it work.
🙂
Thank you
zerwes June 9, 2015 at 12:42 amJuan, so sorry, man.
But I still haven’t got it working perfectly.
You’ll try to explain:
This is the page: http://transleitura.com.br/?page_id=17
I’m using this shorcode, exactly: [nicethemes_knowledgebase article-category=billing]
The page load the full list of article categories, not the only category that I want to insert in it (billing, id=33)
Is this shortcode correct? Because I’ve in several different ways with “”, just the id number. But nothing seems to work.
Sorry for bothering you again.
And thank you.
Juanfra Aldasoro June 9, 2015 at 2:04 pmHi,
Thanks for the follow up. No problem.
As I’ve explained before, the parameter is “category”, not “article-category”. Plus, you must use the ID of the category and not the slug.
Best,
Juan.zerwes June 10, 2015 at 11:52 pmJuan, I’m giving up. hahahaha.
It’s impossible to make it work. The ID is 32. So, please, can you past here the full shortcode, for a test?
Juanfra Aldasoro June 11, 2015 at 12:12 amHi,
Thanks for the follow up. Don’t give up, we’ll make it work.
The shortcode should be:
[nicethemes_knowledgebase category=32]
Please if this doesn’t work send me your site access details to support@nicethemes.com so I can take a look at your site.
Best,
Juan.
