Hide sub-category articles in parent-category list

Hi,
is it possible to hide articles of a sub-category at the parent-category page and how does it work?

Well, that’s WordPress territory, as the query is automatically generated. The only option to change that would be creating a hook in order to alter the main query, depending on the custom taxonomy (article category).
