Slider text overlapping

My slider text wasn’t showing up, so i added this CSS which i found on another post and it fixed the problem .flex-caption{ display: block !important; }
but now the text is overlapping, showing both slider text on each image. can you help?

Hello Laura,
Thanks for writing.
That problem is part of a flexslider bug, when having only one slide and using the slide effect.
However we’ve solved that issue on the newest version of BBQ released yesterday. I would recommend you to download the new version and update your files. Please have in mind that if you’d edited your custom.css or functions.php files you don’t have to replace that ones.
