Hey, I want to know how easy or hard it is to make a department listing page that lists out all the departments and then you can click on them to view a staff listing for that particular department.

Thank you for writing. I hope you are doing well.
The page for each department is automatically generated by the theme. If you go to “Staff > Deparments” and then you click on the “View” link of each department you’ll be able to see the template.
Regarding making a department listing page, I’d recommend you to create a regular page and put the links within the content. That would be a time saver compared to creating a template with programming inside to list at max 10 departments.
