Can you help please.

Juanfra Aldasoro September 14, 2014 at 5:26 pmHello Skids,
Thanks for writing. You should be able to upload as many files as you want to any portfolio item. All you need to do is, when editing/adding a new portfolio item, click on the “Add media” button and drag all the files you’d like to have.
Best,
Juan.Hi Juan
Thanks for your reply.
Unfortunately, I’m still having problems with this request.
When I add more than one image via the ‘Add media’ button, I only get the option to ‘Insert into post’ in the bottom right-hand corner of the pop-up.
Are you able to point me in the direction of the step-by-step implementation for this?
Regards

Juanfra Aldasoro September 18, 2014 at 1:45 pmHello Skids,
Thanks for the follow up. There’s no need to add the media into the post content.
The portfolio carousel will show the images that are uploaded to that certain portfolio item. So, by just uploading images to that portfolio item, they’ll be linked and they will show up in the carousel.
Best,
Juan.Hi Juanfra
Thanks for your persistence with this issue.
I still cannot add multiple images to a portfolio page.
I go to ‘Add New’
Name it ‘Test portfolio’
Click on ‘Add Media’
See all the media items
Select more than one
Then what?
The only button I see is ‘Insert into post’ in the bottom right hand corner.
There is nothing else to execute the command.
Where ann I going wrong.

Juanfra Aldasoro September 18, 2014 at 3:04 pmHi Skids,
No problem, thank you for your patience.
What you need to do
1. Go to Portfolio > Add New
2. Click Add Media
3. Upload the files over there. Do not pick them from the ones already uploaded. This is important, because by uploading the files over there, they will be linked to the portfolio item that you are creating and that’s the reason why they show up in the carousel.
4. Fill in the portfolio item details.Best,
Juan.Hi Juan
Thanks again for your help.
The problem is, I upload the files from my desktop, but how do I ‘commit’ them to get back to the portfolio page to add the item details.
Again, the only button I see is Insert into post

Juanfra Aldasoro September 18, 2014 at 3:23 pmHello Skids,
You don’t need to do anything else. Just close the media uploader by clicking the X or the Cancel button.
Best,
Juan.Hi Juan
It’s working now… I couldn’t see it properly until I added a portfolio image.
Many thanks for your help.
