Hello,

Tried searching the forums but didn’t find a conclusive answer.

So i set up parent categories and subcategories for my articles to be shown on the knowledge base i’m trying to build.

Afterwards I wrote some articles and assigned them to the correct subcategory.

1. However when I open the homepage, I see following:

Parent category
Sub category 1
Sub category 2
Sub category 3
Random article from sub category 1, 2 or 3
Random article from sub category 1, 2 or 3
Random article from sub category 1, 2 or 3

I would expect to see following:
Parent category
Sub category 1
Articles from subcategory 1
Sub category 2
Articles from subcategory 2
Sub category 3
Articles from subcategory 3

2. Subcategory links just point to the maincategory page

Could you please help on this one?

Thank you for reaching out and sorry for the delayed response.

Yes, the articles listed on under a category (even if the sub-categories are listed) are tied to the category.

With regards to the link of the subcategory not working, would you please try replacing the file /flatbase/includes/functions.php with this new one?
