I see an update came out, but my dashboard shows my theme is up-to-date. I am at v1.0.4.

Where can I get the new version? I saw in an earlier post that there is a way to change the appearance of fonts, etc. with the update.

Hi Michelle,

The number v1.0.4 is for the framework version. With regards to BBQ’s version 1.0.6, you need to download the files from your account dashboard and then replace your old files with the new ones (the bbq/ folder on /wp-content/themes/).

Take into account that if you’d changed anything in your functions.php or custom.css files you don’t have to replace them. I would recommend you to make a backup before updating.

Hello Juan,

Today I downloaded the current bbq.zip as I wanted the new theme with typography options.

I backed up my original WP site, created a fresh WP install, installed and activated new bbq theme. I see the typography option in the theme options!

After I restore my WP site, the typography options are gone. Can you please advise?

I figured it out just now. When I restored the old WP site to a fresh installation of WP with BBQ 1.0.7, it also restored the old BBQ theme. So I deleted the theme, uploaded the newest version and activated it, and everything worked.
