Cant remove slider from Blog

Hi, I only want the slider on the home page, but it appears at the top of my blog page too. How do I get rid of it? I have selected the ‘blog’ template but the page does not look like the template – it doesn’t have the recent posts etc down the right hand side..

Hi,
Thanks for writing. In order to have the slider only on the home page you need to leave blank the “Posts Page” list in your “Settings > Reading” WordPress panel.
