Hi Juan,

Thank you for your help thus far. I am just about to add a membership plugin that will enable different user roles to view only set categories. I would imagine the plugin works via the post categories however this would primarily be for the knowledge base.

Is there a way to link knowledge base articles to the general site categories rather than have them as separate entities?

Hello Al,

No problem. Actually the only way to do that would be modifying the taxonomy registration.

I’d recommend you, that before doing that, ask the membership plugin developers if their plugin support the same functionality for custom taxonomies (it would be strange if they don’t do that).
