changing text within customers – not working

Hi, we try to edit the standard text on some sites … but it isn’t working. After saving, there are the same sample texts within the text editing fields and the page like before.
We thought it’s a cache problem and tried several things like cleaning the cache … doesn’t work. There is also no cache folder to delete!?

Problem still exist. As workaround we changed the concerning text blocks within the database. Ok for the moment.
