Editing of the Live Search Text doesn't work

Hi there,
we purchased the theme Flatbase yesterday and we are trying to edit the text at the live search section. Unfortunately I can’t change anything at the moment. How can we fix that?

I hope you’re doing well. Thank you for reaching out to us!
Have you tried changing the option in Theme Options > Home Options > Live Search & Welcome Message?
You can change the placeholder of the searchbox by modifying the Live Search Placeholder option.

thank you! I tried to change it via the customizer and that didn’t work. As I tried it this way it worked great!
