Hi
I upgraded BBQ theme to 1.2.5. In the footer, there is site map links showing now and want to take it out. Please let me know how to take it out.Juanfra Aldasoro September 21, 2015 at 1:58 pmHello Akane,
Thank you for writing. In BBQ v1.1.1 we introduced the footer menu. It is defaulted to list the site pages. If you want to leave that place empty you can go to “Appearance > Menus”, create a new empty menu and assign it to the “Footer” menu location.
Best,
Juan.akanekodani September 22, 2015 at 1:24 amThanks for the quick reply, Juan. I always appreciate it.
I followed your instruction to create the blank footer in the menu option, but the footer link shows in the top menu which I don’t want to have.
There is a check mark Footer menu in the Menu settings section in the bottom. I unchecked originally and showed all page links. Now it’s checked it to show the top nav menus. But I don’t want have any of them after the copyright line. Please let me know how.Thank you.
Thank you.
Juanfra Aldasoro September 22, 2015 at 1:48 pmHello Akane,
Thank you for the follow up. Well, that might be because you’ve selected the menu location for the top navigation menu as well.
Have you checked our tutorial on how to manage navigation menus? http://nicethemes.com/article/setting-navigation-menu/
Best,
Juan.
