I’ve tried following the below but i’m still having issues getting the Gallery to work. I wonder if i’m missing something obvious?

“In order to attach images to that gallery you need to use the Page mediauploader ( The “Add Media” button below the title in the page form ), choosing as many pictures as you want from your hard drive. You can edit the information for the images and the template will make the magic happen.”

Did you set up the page with the “Gallery” Template as page template?

Hey,

Yep Templates been set but I just can’t seem to workout how to attach the image rather than insert using the ‘add media’ feature on the page. I used a plugin (File Un-Attach) to attach the images instead and that worked, however, the caption/title etc does not display.

Once I do manage to attach these images, will I be able to organise images?

Also, on an un-related subject, how do the Testimonials work? I haven’t found a post on this feature yet.

Scratch that last point about Testimonials, I was being dumb!

Hello,

When you add media to a certain page, that media will be linked to the page. So, if you want to display images for the gallery template, all you need to do is upload images to that page.

With the template as it is now, the title/caption doesn’t show. But you can edit the template in order to show that. You should replace the line #53 for the file template-gallery.php with this code:

" title="< ?php echo get_the_title($att_id ); ?>">

Regarding Testimonials:

There’s a “Feedback” menu in the admin section. You can add as many feedback items as you wish. Then, in the options panel > General settings you can tick the option “Display Feedback Above Footer” or create a page with the testimonials/feedback template.
