Hello,

Although I have individual team members created I cannot view them live on my homepage. I set up individual team profiles via Team>All Team Members and I have the Team section enabled on my Home Template (Smart>Theme Options>General>Home Page Sections> [content] [infoboxes] [team] [testimonials]

Additionally, in the Smart>Theme Options>Team Members section I have selected “Enable Team Section”.

Still, there is no Team section viewable live on my homepage.

Please assist me in displaying my Team on my home page.

Thank you for writing. I hope you are doing well.

Are you using the visual builder to create your home page? Because if you are using the builder, you’ll need to use the “Posts” element in order to query and display the team members. The options that you set are for the home page template, which actually doesn’t use the builder, but it is a WordPress page template.

If I visit your site I can see there are team members listed. Would you please change the user privileges of the user you have created for us so we can see your configuration?

Sorry about the delay here. I have changed your user status to Administrator.

I used to have a cool homepage but no team. I guess I did something so now I lost my homepage and ONLY have a team section. All I want to do is integrate a team segment into the original homepage template.

Thank you for the follow-up.

The problem here is that you’re using the “Home Page” template and trying to edit the contents of the page with the visual editor. That’s not compatible, either you use the home page template (which will be populated with the selections you make on the theme options panel > Home Template) or you edit the page with the visual editor and using the default template.

I am happy to use the home page template, but does this mean I cannot add a team member section to my homepage scroller?

Thanks for the follow-up.

Your site is not using the home page template, it is using a page created with visual composer, and that page is configured to be the front page of your site.

To add a team section for your site, you can use the visual composer “Posts” element.
