  • Hi,

theme worked fine for 6 pages. Then I added a page with the template Menu List and after publishing the Home template is destroyed. In the moment i cancel the publishing Home template is displayed correct again. After that moment by creating any new page with any template the home template is destroyed again. Now i can’t make any new pages and finish my site.

I took a look in the source-code of the start-page before and after adding an new page. Before there was no content block in the page, after adding a new page there is a in the start-page with the content of all pages in it. Please Help!!!!!

    Regards

    Hello there,

Thanks for writing. I’ve been through your website and it seems that you had the Home page as front page and posts page in your “Settings > Reading” panel. I’m not sure why, this is something about WordPress, this was driving the site crazy when you added that amount of page.

I’ve tried now and published the page “Press” that you had as draft and things are looking good. Please check how it works now and let me know if everything went well.

    Thanks,
    Juan.

    Hi,

thanks alot for helping me. Now it works and looks much better…but I still got problems with adding the Gallery template.
As you can see, it does not browse and you leave the page by clicking the image.

I realized the hind from you, that by using the Galery Template just to upload the images from the Add Media button. Thats what I did, but it doesn’t work. May you can help me.

    Thanks
    Belgin

    Hi Belgin,

    No problem 🙂

I’ll guide you on how to use the gallery template.

First of all, when creating a page in which you want to show the gallery, you need to select the gallery template for that page.

You can read more on this link to understand how to use page templates: http://nicethemes.com/support/theme-docs/bbq/#page-templates

Please, be sure you select the Gallery template for that page. If you don’t set your page template with the gallery template it won’t work.

Second, you need to upload pictures to that gallery. In order to do this, use the Page mediauploader ( The “Add Media” button below the title in the page form ) choosing as many pictures as you want from your hard drive. You can edit the information for the images. Then save changes and publish the page.

You do need to upload the images on that page, else they won’t show and you’ll be getting a sign that there are not images for that gallery.

Finally, the template will make the magic happen.

    Best,
    Juan.
