Thanks for the follow-up.

Honestly, it is taking more than the average. I’ve tested on some sites apart from the one you’ve sent:

– https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fdonningme.com%2Fstudio%2F
– https://tools.pingdom.com/#!/ex1nTB/http://donningme.com/studio/

They all mention that you should be optimizing the images. Apart from that, I see that the carousel plugin that you are using it is taking a while.

With regards to improvin performance from the theme, I suggest you go to the Options Panel, and on the “Performance” section you do the following:

– Images Section: Check the “Enable LazyLoad for images”
– CSS: Check both options.
– JavaScript: Check both options.

With regards to optimization plugins we recommend using W3 Total Cache and Autoptimize. Also, we suggest not using both at the same time to minify CSS and JS files, so you can just ignore these settings in W3 Total Cache, and use the following configuration for Autoptimize: https://www.dropbox.com/s/l621ucr6mlpuepk/Screen%20Shot%202017-06-28%20at%2014.53.49-fullpage.png?dl=0&raw=1.
