Menu categories appear in a list on portfolio page
This support request was posted in General Support by Kazz
Hi, I hope I’m not wasting your time but I’ve tried everything on your list to resolve this and I’m starting to lose my mind.
I’m not using one of your themes, but I’m using Nice Portfolio, which I really like. When your plugin is activated the portfolio appears (and looks great by the way) but so does a bullet-pointed list of menu categories, (and all their subcategories):
Pages
Archives
Categories
Blogroll
MetaIt appears below the portfolio, and it only appears on the ‘Products’ page where the portfolio is displayed. When I deactivate the plugin it disappears. I also added the portfolio using the shortcode to my homepage but it didn’t do the same thing there.
Am I using your plugin wrong? Where is this menu information coming from?
I’m using the Hendrix theme, and I haven’t altered any code.Plus, instead of the heading saying ‘Portfolio’ or ‘Products’ (not sure what it should say), the heading is now saying ‘Archive: Projects’
I’m pulling my hair out, please help!
Juanfra Aldasoro November 21, 2016 at 5:58 pmHi,
Thank you for writing and thanks for your kind words regarding Nice Portfolio 🙂
It sounds like it is a configuration issue regarding the slug you use for the portfolio projects. Would you please send a private reply with your site access details so we can take a look? The ones you’ve shared on this support thread are not working.
Thank you for your time.
Best,
Juan.
