Request ID #7196 In Progress
  • Hi guys,

I need multiple knowledgebases for different departments. On the forum I’ve found that by adding a regular page and this shortcode creates one for set category.

    [nicethemes_knowledgebase category=32]

This works well except I’m seeing a different (default) font and can’t seem to change it…

Is there a way to force it to use my prefered font?

    Thanks, Ton

    Hi Ton,

Thank you for writing. I hope you are doing well.

Would you please send me a link to your site to support@nicethemes.com (referencing this support ticket) so I can take a look?

    Best,
    Juan.

    Hi!

Thank you for your reply. Sadly I can’t send a link as I’m building it in a VM on my laptop with no exposure to the internet. Would there be another way to get it to you?

    Cheers, Ton

    Hi,

Thank you for the follow up.

Unfortunately, I am unable to see what can be happening with the fonts if I cannot see the site. Perhaps that happens when you are not connected to the internet and working locally. Remember that the default theme for the theme is served by Google Fonts and you need to be connected to see it.

    Best,
    Juan.

    Hi,

It is connected to the internet. Except it’s not accesible from the outside. The normal knowledgebase does show the correct font. The one using the shortcode doesn’t. I could send screenshots if that helps?

    Hi,

Thank you for the follow up.

That sounds really strange, because all of the contents within the body of the HTML document must inherit the body font unless they have CSS rules defining that they are using a different font.

Were you able to distinguish which font is used on this new knowledge base? Can you send me the screenshots please?

Do you have plans to put this site online?

    Thank you,
    Juan.
