No feature image on blog template

Hi,
The feature image is not appearing on the blog template for my site. Originally the Home page slider was there, so I de-selected the Blog page from the post page list and this removed it (by the way, in doing that I was then forced to edit the post page permalink to include the /blog/ prefix otherwise posts wouldn’t have been posted to that area of the site).
But now there is no feature image on the Blog page. Is there a way around this?
Cheers,

Thanks for writing. Actually we’ve responded your email the same day you’ve sent it through.
Please check your spam folder in case our email was sent there by default.
Back to your question:
It seems that you haven’t set the featured image.
The featured image for the blog section should be edited on each post. Each post can have a different featured image. At this moment you only have one post, you can go, and edit it -> http://yoursite.co.uk/wp-admin/post.php?post=776&action=edit
(Change http://yoursite.co.uk with your actual site)
Once you set a featured image for that one, you should see the changes.

Juan.pdrury July 25, 2013 at 4:31 pmOK, thanks for your response but I think you misunderstand my query.
So you can’t have a featured/header image for the page itself? i.e. the top of the page http://www.site.com/blog (full page width).
I assumed you would because when /blog is selected as the post page you get the home page slider.
Does this make sense?
Juanfra Aldasoro July 25, 2013 at 4:33 pmHi Paul,
Oh, ok. Yes I misunderstood. There’s no header image option on this theme.
Best,
Juan.
