Also had a question about adding a phone number field into the contact us form ? is this an option ?

    Hi There,

Thanks for writing. Unfortunately we never used that plugin, so we don’t know what can be happening with it.

With regards to the phone number, you can find that option over “Theme Options > Business Setup”.

    Best,
    Juan.

Hi Juanfra – i cant see the option in that setting that is just to update the phone number.
I want to add a phone number field into the contact us / reservation form.

If this is not an option can we change the text on one of the form fields ?

    Hi,

Which theme are you using for your site? I’ve assumed you were speaking of BBQ.

    Thanks,
    Juan.

    Yes BBQ theme

I’ll move this topic to the BBQ forum then.

With regards to the phone number, in your WordPress admin section you need to go over the Theme Options. Then, on the vertical menu of the Theme Options panel, click on “Business Setup” and you’ll find the field for the phone number.

    Best,
    Juan.

Ok great – Yes i know how to change the phone number i think im not explaining myself properly.

On the contact us or reservation form there is no field for the customer to place their phone number for us to call them back if they want to make a reservation. Do i have the option of adding an additional field into the contact us/ reservation submit form. ?

    Juanfra Aldasoro

    Oh, ok.

Unfortunately it’s not possible to add more fields, unless you’re experienced with php. The contact form, is an AJAX contact form and it has several functions in order to work.

Maybe what you can do is, install a plugin like contact form 7 and remove the code from the original form, including only the generated form by the plugin.

    Best,
    Juan.
