Yes, we’ve released a major update on 2.0, including a whole new bunch of amazing features. The codes I’ve added to your theme are already present in 2.0.1, so there will be no problem with that. Have you applied any other type of code customization? We always strongly recommend doing backups before updating to a new version.

Thank you very much for sharing your info with me.

I’ve updated a file to fix the sub-category problem (the fix will be included in the upcoming version). Regarding the header issue, I’ve seen that you have the header.php file in your child theme. The header.php file has been updated in version 2.0, so that might be the reason why the background image is not taking place. Have you done any customization over the header.php file of your child theme?

Thank you. The sub categories don’t seem to be working though?

We did a couple of customization but got a clever wordpress person in to do them. Bascially the live search is on every page, we have a custom menu to fit in with our main website and we have three icons on the home page which open into separate knowledge base sections.

I checked the diffs between the original header code (which I think was version 1) It won’t let me paste in the changes as wordfence says its unsafe.

The diffs are line 45 to 59 which are google analytics tracking to track author analytics which I added.

Line 74 we have a full width div not sure what that does

Line 120 we are missing the front page bit after the live search enable line. I guess that puts the live search on every page

Thanks for the follow-up.

Re Knowledge Base subcategories. I tested yesterday after uploading the new version of /flatbase/includes/functions.php to click on the subcategories in the Knowledge Base page and it took me to each subcategory page. I’ve re-updated the changes so please be careful with that file. It’s in the parent theme.

With regards to the header, I’m sorry but I we can help with customizations. I can suggest you move the google analytics code to a function hooking wp_head instead of modifying the template. You can read more about wp_head here https://codex.wordpress.org/Plugin_API/Action_Reference/wp_head

And then apply the other changes of div and the other lines of code.

Thanks for the follow-up. I hope all is well.

Those changes might be causing the problem, because we have applied changes to the new header structure and perhaps the background styles are not being applied correctly given your header markup.

With regards to the error with the user roles, we have received a query notifying us about that and we already included a patch that will be released in the next version. To fix it now, you can put the following file in the following folder /flatbase/includes/
