Reorder articles within a section/category

Hey there, I’m trying to figure out how to reorder articles within my categories/sections. Right now, they are automatically ordered by date created. I’d like to be able to reorder them manually to highlight new or relevant articles at the top.
I saw a previous support thread regarding sorting articles alphabetically rather than by date, however, the solution provided does not work in this case. I also can’t find a plug-in that reorders articles, only categories or posts. How would I be able to accomplish this?

Thank you for writing. I hope you are doing well.
Ordering articles is fairly easy, and it relies on the WordPress ordering feature. When creating/editing an article you will see a box titled “Attributes” with an input named “Order”. All you need to do is set a numeric value for each article, to set an order.
If you want to use a plugin, I’d recommend you to take a look at this one: https://wordpress.org/plugins/intuitive-custom-post-order/
As the name says, it’s really intuitive.
Please let me know how it goes.
Thanks,
