Search results page doesn’t have sidebar, how to enable it? i.e. a search term I was looking for is part of FAQs, so when I click on it it brings up the page where the correct info is but it doesn’t show sidebar left of right. In my widget area I have dragged components for Konwledge, FAQS etc. … so it’s not that.
Thanks
Juanfra Aldasoro July 7, 2017 at 2:46 pmHi,
Thanks for writing.
Yes, the search results template use the “Primary” sidebar as the sidebar. Is that not enough? Would you need a special sidebar for the search results page?
Best,
Juan.korgix300 July 7, 2017 at 3:00 pmThat actually doesn’t work so I went in and modified the code in the single-faq.php
Not sure how it’s going to use Primary when it is not in the code.Juanfra Aldasoro July 7, 2017 at 3:05 pmThanks for the follow up.
The template you need to edit is search.php, the FAQ templates doesn’t have sidebars.

No, unfortunately there’s no widget to list all FAQs, but it’s a good feedback. I’ll check to see if we can put that in the product roadmap.
