Request ID #1925 Resolved
  • I had one of my team members set up the site for a client, and now I am noticing it is not showing up as mobile compatible. My understanding when we did this site is that it was a mobile responsive site? Is there a setting I have to change to make it mobile ready? Thanks you! Patty

    Hello Patty,

    Thanks for writing.

Actually the theme is mobile ready. Would you please send me the site url over support@nicethemes.com so I can take a look?

    Thanks,
    Juan.

    Hi Patty,

Thanks for sharing your details with me. I’ve been through your site and the site structure looks responsive. The only problem is the logo. Fortunately we already resolved this issue for your site:)
Please take a look at this support ticket: http://nicethemes.com/forums/topic/customized-logo-size/

    Best,
    Juan.

    Hi Juan,
    This is Jerome.

The logo I am using is too big and it has to be that way to show up and with that being said, it makes it not show up correctly on a mobile compatible device.

I can easily break up the image into 2 parts, but not sure if it will resolve the issue once uploaded to the site.

Is there a way I can put the header image, which is not really a logo directly embed it into the background at the top as it is now?

Maybe that will resolve the issue of it showing up correctly on a mobile compatible device.

Any ideas of how to make it show up correctly on a mobile compatible device?

I know you provided the link: http://nicethemes.com/forums/topic/customized-logo-size/, but not sure if that will help me resolve the issue of making the image mobile compatible when it has to be the size that I have it for a regular computer.

    Let me know your thoughts.

    Thanks,
    Jerome

    Hi Jerome,

Thanks for writing. Maybe you can use the same solution but with percentages. Try the following:

    #logo a img { border: none; width: 100%;}

    Best,
    Juan.

    Juan, that did the trick!

Thanks and you can close this ticket.
