Slider Revolution Blank Template Navigation Header Issue

Hi –
I want to have a full screen slider for my homepage with a transparent navigation bar on top.
When I set my page to “Slider Revolution Blank Template” the slider looks great but the navigation bar does not appear.
When I set my page to “Default Template” the navigation bar shows, but the slider does not look good.
How can I use the Slider Revolution Blank Template, but have the navigation bar still show?
Thank you,

Thank you for writing. I hope you are doing well.
I’ve already replied regarding this issue on the other ticket you have opened here: https://nicethemes.com/forums/topic/slider-revolution-blank-template-doesnt-show-navigation-header/
Would you please send me the site access details in a private reply so I can see your configuration? That’s the only way I can see what you have done and understand what you mean with mentioning the revolution slider blank template.
Best,

Thank you for writing. And thank you for sharing your access details with me.
What you are trying to do actually depends on the slider configuration and your site configuration.
For your particular case, perhaps you can fix it by adding the following custom CSS:
body.home.uses-vc #header + #container { padding-top: 0; }

Juan.jfcstudio September 22, 2017 at 5:09 pmHi Juan,
Thank you for your reply.
I tried adding the CSS to the custom CSS section. Unfortunately, it looks the same when the page is set at Default Template.
When I set the page to Slider Revolution Blank Template, the navigation header still doesn’t show.
Is there anything else I can try?
Also, I get the following message when I try and update the theme:
“An error occurred while updating Smart: Update package not available.”What should I do?
Thank you,
Racheljfcstudio September 22, 2017 at 5:14 pmI just did a test, and I get the impression that the title bar is related to the issue. I do not need the title bar at all on this site. Is there away to remove it and see if that solves the layout issue?
Thank you!
Juanfra Aldasoro September 22, 2017 at 5:52 pmHi,
Thanks for the follow-up.
Yes, you can remove the title bar on a page basis. When creating/editing a page, you need to scroll down to “Smart Settings” and in “Title Bar > Display Title Bar” you need to set it to “OFF”.

Juan.jfcstudio September 22, 2017 at 6:13 pmHi Juan,
I already have the title bar set to OFF, but it doesn’t make a change…
But when I look at the layout with the title bar on, the slider is pushed down to the same place as it is now (without the title bar on)….
Any other ideas?
Thank you!
jfcstudio September 22, 2017 at 6:18 pmI found a solution! Thank you for getting back to me.
Can you please let me know what do to for the update issue?
Thank you!

What do you mean with the “update issue”?
Thank you very much,
