social widget – adding another source

This is a pretty specific request/issue, but I was wondering if there was a way to add another site and profile link to the social media list? I want to add an icon and link to my ravelry.com profile (it’s a knitting social site) but I don’t want it to be separate from the widget.

Hi,
Unfortunaly, right now there’s no easy way to do this without having to modify the widget’s source file or coding heavily for a workaround. We’re working on a couple of tools for a future version to deal with this kind of needs, but maybe you want to take a look at this article, which describes different possibilities to modify the HTML for a widget.
Perhaps you can use the Blog Author widget to link to your Ravelry profile?
