sub-categories link not appearing in knowledge base

Hi there.
I created some categories + subcategories. In the knowledge base section, the subcategories are display correctly but the URL is always the one of the main category.This means I’m not able to direct traffic directly from the home page to subacategory post only.
Can you please help?
I cannot link to the website because it’s still in development.

We usually recommend this plugin to order categories. You may want to give it a try and see if it suit your needs. https://wordpress.org/plugins/taxonomy-terms-order/
