  • Hi Guys,

    My blog posts are sitting at a width that is forcing the widgets below the post – rather than beside as they should be.

    See here as an example http://blacksombrero.com.au/justin-leith/

    Hello,

    Thanks for writing and hoping that you are doing well.

    Yes, that’s because you’ve added some custom CSS and it is causing that glitch.

    The code is:

    #content {
    	width: 69%;
    	float: left;
    	overflow: hidden;
    }

    The width value in 69% is causing that. I’d recommend you to remove that custom CSS.

    Best,
    Juan.

    Hi Juan,

    I have deleted the #content but it hasn’t made any difference. I have put the code back in as I didn’t want it to affect anything in the meantime. What was the original code that you would of had in there?

    Regards, Julie

    Hi Julie,

    Thanks for the follow up.

    I went to your website and I still see the code you have added, giving a 60% width to the #content.

    Please revise the information that you have saved within the theme options. It is quite likely that you find that there.

    The original width for that element, is the one that you can find in the original stylesheet, 64.583%.

    Best,
    Juan.
