Can't Download BBQ into WordPress

I have downloaded the purchased BBQ Theme and it does not retain the .zip format once downloaded on my Mac – it becomes a freestanding folder. How to I get wordpress to install this theme?

Do you mean, that once downloaded into your mac is automatically extracted? I don’t understand what you mean when you say that it doesn’t retain the .zip format.
