I would like to use the Verdana font on all of my menus, also on the “pulldown”.
From where can I remove the “comments are closed”?

To use verdana you should include this code on your custom.css file:

#navigation .nav li a,
#navigation .nav li ul li a { font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; }

To remove comments from your pages you can edit your theme file page.php, look for this line

< ?php comments_template( '', true ); ?>

and remove it.
