I have created a paean-child theme as I like to do everything within this for obvious reasons, however in WP it says template is missing so I cannot activate it, any clues as to why this might be please?
Juanfra Aldasoro November 7, 2013 at 6:46 pmHello Rich,
The name of the theme is paeon with an o. Have you tried naming the folder /paeon-child/ ?
Best,
Juanrichpearsonwd November 7, 2013 at 6:52 pmI have yup, log in and have a look, it says broken theme, template file missing
Juanfra Aldasoro November 7, 2013 at 6:55 pmHi Rich,
Have you included the required files / templates to create a child theme? (http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes)

Juan.richpearsonwd November 7, 2013 at 6:59 pmYup style sheet, screenshot and even added the amended footer – still says the same 🙁
richpearsonwd November 7, 2013 at 7:03 pmOk fixed the leading info in the stylesheet needed amending to:
/*
Theme Name: paeon-child
Theme URI: http://nicethemes.com/theme/paeon-child
Description: Designed by NiceThemes
Version: 1.0.3
Author: NiceThemes
Template: paeon

*/as it wasn’t correct 🙂
