Custom "Related Articles"

My question is regarding the bottom section called “Related Articles” on an article page.
I would like to have some own related articles displayed there. I want to reference the related articles by the ID.
How can I do this?
How are the related articles referenced right now?

Thank you for writing. I hope you are doing well.
The related articles as they are right now are queried so they are part of the same category. Unfortunately there’s no option to pick them by ID. Perhaps you can find a plugin that do that on this list: http://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/5-best-related-posts-plugins-for-wordpress/
