    Hello,
I have the Nettelier theme installed on http://www.wijkplatformarnhemzuidmidden.nl
The main menu is a menu called “Kronenburg en Appelgaard”
When you click on it it shows links.
One link called “het weer” I made a redirect on to another site with a hyperlink.

What I wish to do is when clicking on the link “het weer” visitors see an external site inside my netelier theme.
Link of the external is http://www.jeroenenronald.nl/weerplatform.htm

Is this possible and how do i do this?

    Hi Ronald,

Thanks for writing. I don’t exactly understand what you mean when you say “visitors see an external site inside my netelier theme.”.

However, If I’m not wrong, what you’re trying to do is to link “Het Weer” to an external site.

To do that, when creating the main menu, you can set a custom link.

When creating/editing your menu, you’ll see a box at the left part of the screen that says “Custom Links”. You should insert an URL and the Label (Het Weer, in your case). Then you add that to your menu and set the position for that item by dragging and dropping.

    Best,
    Juan.

    Hi Juan,
It is difficult to explain when English is not your nativ language.
I know how to make an external link. But this is not what I mean.

The extrenal hosted page should load in the same frame from Netelier.
When I work on a HTML site and want to open a site inside my frame lay out i set a target ( main frame )
When I work with netelier I only can create the link http://www.wijkplatformarnhemzuidmidden.nl/het-weer/ but instead of that i want that the link http://www.jeroenenronald.nl/weerplatform.htm is opening not as an external page but it should open inside my netelier theme.

I tried to make an impression for you to explain what I mean, see this animation on http://www.jeroenenronald.nl/animatedweer.jpg

    Hi Ronald,

Ok, I got you. Maybe what you can try is creating a page and then inserting an iframe on that page, with the desired site as source. I think that WordPress doesn’t allow you to directly use an iframe, however there are plugins like this one: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/iframe/

    Best,
    Juan.
