Remove slider arrows & "comments closed"

How can I remove the arrows on the home page slides?
How can I remove “comments are closed” on each page? I don’t want comments open, but I don’t want this displayed either. I want it to look like a regular web page.

Hello Laura,
Regarding the arrows, you can find an option on the theme options panel > Slider Options > Previous/Next Navigation. Just uncheck that.
To remove comments from pages you have an option, Theme Options > General Settings > Allow comments on pages. Just uncheck that.
