Show product only in categories (not in home page)

I would like to ask if there’s a way to hide specific new products on home page (when no category is selected) but show them on the correspondent category only.
Or if there is a way to set a category as default when the home page is loaded.

Hi,
Thank you for writing. I hope you are doing well.
A nice way to do that would be using a product tag, something like “Home” or “Featured”, and then on the home page, when using the “Posts” element, when you go to the “General Settings > Build Query” you choose to display elements that have that tag/taxonomy/category.
