Site Title and Tagline not displaying

I’ve ticked the option to have the Site title and Tagline appear in the header, but they are not.

Enable if
you want Blog Title and Tagline to be text-based. Setup title/tagline in WP -> Settings -> General.
I’ve looked at the header.php and can’t see any code there calling for it. The site does look pretty senseless without it, so I’m hoping to sort this out.

Those options will become available if you are using the text-logo instead of the image.
