Turn off slider scrolling

  • I would like to turn off the slider effect on the homepage.

    When you first load the home page, the slider is covered by the “Call Now & Social Media” bar below the slider, and then it gradually slides down so that the slider is visible. Is there any way we can turn off this “scrolling” effect when the page is first loaded. We would like everything to be static as soon as the page is loaded.

    I tried commenting out this in style.css, but it doesn’t look like that worked:

    .flex-viewport {
    max-height: 2000px;
    -webkit-transition: all 1s ease;
    -moz-transition: all 1s ease;
    transition: all 1s ease;
    }

    .loading .flex-viewport {
    max-height: 300px;
    }

    Please let me know if this makes sense

    Thank you for this great theme!

    Hi,

    Thanks for writing.

    Unfortunately that’s part of the script we use to have the slider, it is called “FlexSlider”. And as well, we can’t provide support on customizations. Perhaps you can try to add some height to the class of the slider (.flexslider). What you’re doing right now is adding max heights, you’d need to add a specific height in order to have that fixed.

    Thanks for your kind words.

    Best,
    Juan.
